NEW PROCESS TO ASSIST EMPLOYERS WITH THE REGISTRATION OF CLAIMS:
CompSol will attempt to register claims on behalf of employers who are unable to register claims online. Part of this process involves the employer giving CompSol the necessary authority/consent to do so on their behalf. Th introduction of a ONCE-OFF (per IOD claim) CONSENT form to authorise CompSol to pursue registration of a specific IOD claim with the Compensation Fund.
- The purpose of this consent form is to authorise CompSol to submit such a claim for registration on behalf of the employer..
- The authorisation will give us the permission to submit a claim and actively pursue claim numbers from the CF.
- In addition to the consent form, the employer must provide your practice with all the necessary documents for claim registration. It is very important to note that this includes all pages of the fully completed WCL 2. (Employer’s report), which must be fully completed by the employer.
- It is imperative that you request this CONSENT form and full WCL 2 immediately when patients are treated by your practice.
- We are finalizing the electronic workflow tool which will assist your practice in obtaining the above CONSENT form electronically, either to complete electronically online, or print, and upload once completed and signed by the employer
- Enclosed herewith is the CONSENT form for your attention, please look out for our next email which will be a step-by-step guide on how this from must be completed.
Thank you for working with our team to weather the challenges we have been facing during the extended lockdown period.
We hope that the above new value-add process will simplify the claim registration process and allow us to successfully register claims on behalf of employers and increase the rate at which we are currently able to source claim numbers via employers..
